About three days ago on Thursday last week,United democratic association party online campaign manager Dennis Itumbi took to his Facebook page to claim that the interior cabinet secretary Fred Matiangi was to launch a National party at isinya farm or resort.
The trusted Political blogger said that the name of the party was to be democratic progress party (DPP) saying that the main intentions of the launch of the party was to take away kisii county votes from the Raila Odinga base of Nyanza Region amid rumours to weaken the opposition leader.
Itumbi said that the party even went ahead to register the party symbol as a motorcycle so that it may look like a hustler nation party. He said that Matiang'i was Robbie for Presidency using the party's ticket. He said that the party was to be launched yesterday Saturday 25th 2021.
"The HNIB are reporting, the Ruaraka thief will launch his Political party at a farm or resort in Isinya. The party is Democratic Progress Party, the idea of the deep state is to curve out kisii votes from larger nyanza area. In the wider attempts to clip of the wings of Raila Odinga. Matiang'i intends to vie for Presidency using the DPP ticket. In efforts to look like a hustler nation, the new owners have registered the symbol as a motorcycle. The party will be launched on Saturday 25th September 2021," Itumbi wrote.
But to the amusement of many Kenyans who likes following his updates on Facebook and on Twitter the event did not take place either did Matiang'i hint on any party.
Adding to it there was no any Official communication suggesting that the event was postponed making the claims only to be lies and rumours from a top trusted blogger.
This is just one of the lies from the Itumbi blogs of late and now Kenyans have started noticing that he is not consistent with legit news rather he posts for his party UDA supporters to be happy.
Is it high time we as Kenyans should stop trusting Itumbi blogs and find another news channel?
