Hon Rigathi Gachagua is a vocal Kenyan politician from the vote rich Mt Kenya Region. He was nominated by Deputy President Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto as his running mate in the Kenya Kwanza Alliance ahead of the fourth coming general elections to be held in August this year. He is the current serving Mathira Constituency Member of Parliament.
Hon Rigathi Gachagua has been badly humiliated by the Orange Democratic Movement party leader Hon Raila Amolo Odinga's ally. According to Homa Bay Town Constituency Member of Parliament Hon George Peter Kaluma, he wondered where does Hon Rigathi Gachagua come from after categorically said that women cannot lead and have no agenda in Kenya. Hon Kaluma said that women are compassionate and never steal everything entrusted to them like Hon Rigathi Gachagua.
