Kenyans React As Raila Odinga Says Ruto Is Not In Government

Today, the former prime minister has continued with his tour to the voter- rich region of Mount Kenya after a successful rally in Nyeri on Tuesday.

While in Gatundu, Kiambu, Raila Odinga at one point jumped to support President Uhuru's decision to fire Deputy President William Ruto just days after the pair won the 2017 general elections. President Uhuru Kenyatta was left to care for Kenyans alone, which was a very heavy task, says Raila, because Ruto was never in office but instead was out here campaigning.Image

As a result, the head of state replaced DP Ruto with Fred Matiang'i, the cabinet secretary for the interior. This became clear when Matiang'i was appointed Super CS, where he would oversee projects and carry out various tasks that had previously been assigned to Ruto.Kenya's President Uhuru Kenyatta (L) greets opposition leader Raila Odinga of the National Super Alliance (NASA) coalition after addressing a news conference at the Harambee house office in Nairobi, Kenya March 9, 2018

Kenyans have aired their views on this as shown below;

Mtu Huru; One wonders then why Uhuru has been blaming Ruto and not Matiang'i for the failures of Jubilee in its second term.
