Raila Odinga Is a Worthy Competitor, But I Will Not Be Able To Attend His Azimio la Umoja Convention

Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi has opened up on Friday event at Kasarani. Mudavadi said that he has received the invitation card addressed in his personal capacity as ANC leader and not as One Kenya Alliance(OKA) Principal.

He however stated that he will not attend the Convention saying that he has personal engagement.

"I have just received an official invitation to Azimio la Umoja Convention. As noted herein, the invitation was addressed in my personal capacity as ANC Party Leader and not OKA Principal. Regrettably, I will not be able to attend because of personal engagements,' Mudavadi said.

Mudavadi added that Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila Odinga is a worthy competitor saying that he wishes him all the best.

"Raila Odinga is a worthy competitor, I wish him well because tomorrow will clearly be his day in the sun," Mudavadi added.

This comes barely hours after Dennis Itumbi said that the OKA Principals will skip Raila Odinga's convention at Kasarani. He revealed that Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka is currently in Juba therefore he will not attend the convention.

The much-anticipated event will be held on Friday, December 10, at the Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi.
