Musalia Mudavadi Meets This UDA Learders Ahead Of Bungoma Rally.

"The earthquake was real! The freedom of association and expression should be upheld at all times." That was the Amani National Congress party leader's statement after holding a meeting with two of William Ruto's allies from Western Kenya.

The two, former Kakamega senator and August 9 gubernatorial candidate Boni Khalwale and Mumias East Member of Parliament Benjamin Washiali met Mudavadi at his Musalia Mudavadi centre. The leaders discussed a myriad of issues not excluding the merger between Ford Kenya, ANC and UDA parties.

Their meeting comes after the Deputy President attended the much hyped Amani National Congress National Delegates Conference at BOMAS. The comrades promised to work together going forward to August 9 elections. The team is to hold their first joint rally today in Nakuru then on Friday in Bungoma. They will then spend their weekend in Central Kenya.

Below is the tweet Musalia made after their meeting:

Some political pundits have dismissed Ruto-Musalia Alliance as a short time thing. This is because both Mudavadi and Ruto want to go for Presidency and no one can support the other. The question of Ruto deputising Mudavadi is out of question while Ruto picking Musalia as running mate may greatly cost the Mount Kenya votes.
