Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua Criticize Kalonzo As He Gives Way Forward For Ukambani Politics

Machakos governor Alfred Mutua has issued a statement concerning Ukambani politics.The outspoken governor further said that the time had come for leadership change in the region.

Governor Mutua stated that for over thirty years,the Kamba nation had been politically behind the leadership of wiper leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka.

He further accused the former vice president Kalonzo Musyoka for not using the opportunity to initiate development and empower the people of the region.

He added that wiper leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka struggle has been about power, positions,disruptions and waging the tribal card for himself and very little for the people who have kept him at the national table.

Governor Mutua said that the Kamba nation was in need of going back to the politics of liberation heroes, adding that Kalonzo Musyoka's politics had no place in any progressive society.

Governor Mutua added that the Kamba nation was in need of a new leadership that focuses on water,tarmac roads,employment,financial empowerment among others for the community and not just on a position for an individual.

Governor Alfred Mutua called upon my leaders who included Kitui governor Charity Ngilu and his Makueni counterpart Kivutha Kibwana among other progressive leaders.

He also promised to work with upcoming leaders,religious,professionals, youth,women and men groups leaders urging that they urgently need to join hands and liberate their people from the bondage.He stated that he was ready to work with everyone to liberate the minds and livelihoods of the people.
