Mathira Member of Parliament has revealed why Kenyans are being faced with the High Cost of Living and Deputy President William Ruto does nothing about it as new details emerge.
Speaking to the Nation media, MP Gachagua has informed that they are fully aware of the high cost of living and that even Deputy President William Ruto feels the heat from the pressure mounted on him by Kenyans wherever he goes campaigning, but currently has nothing to offer as a solution since his hands are tied.
MP Gachagua has said that DP Ruto has been raising the matter but nobody is listening expanding that the handshake team and Cs Matiangi, are the ones to blame since they are the ones who took over the responsibilities that DP Ruto had and that they are the ones operating inside the government.
According to the Mathira MP, he has said Kenyans should not be misled "I don't think there are any external factors involved. The cost of food did not start rising because of the problems in Ukraine. It is just an excuse."
Adding that "The real reason is that we got our priorities wrong as a country. We spent four years on BBI and we forgot what is important."
However, Gachagua has promised that as in the Kenya Kwanza, they are working to have the reduction of basic commodities worked within their first 100 days in the office in the event they win the Presidency.
