President Kenyatta has today Announces New Covid-19 Protocols, speaking on the labour day celebration at statehouse, President kenyatta issues the following statements.
Lockdown in zoned counties has been lifted taking effect today. People can now move freely in and out of this counties.Curfew time has been rescheduled and curfew time will start at 10pm from tonight as opposed to 8 pm.
Members of the public have also been given a go ahead to congregate given that they will follow covid guidelines put in place by Ministry of Health. Restaurant operations shall resume from today and ensure they have measures in place to ensure that the safety of its clients is taken into consideration.
Education - school are set to reopen as per the calendar earlier announced by the ministry of Education.
Sporting activities also are set to resume and proper covid guidelines will be instituted by the Ministry of sports to protect fans and players. All bars have been allowed to operate until 7pm
Employers have been directed to allow their employees to work from home,with exception of essential services which cannot be done at home. Hospitals and healthcare facilities have been directed to limit the number of visitors to 1 visitor per one patient.
And finally, ban on Political gatherings still on untill it is revised.
