Alice Wahome Claim Why Kanini Kega, Sabina & Wambugu Accompany Raila to His Rallies Across Mt Kenya

Kandara MP Alice Wahome now alleges that the Kieleweke MPs from Mount Kenya Region have been coerced to popularize and accompany the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga to different places across the region.

As quoted by People's Daily, Wahome argues that the leaders led by Kieni MP Kanini Kega, Murang'a Woman Representative Sabina Chege, Nyeri Town MP Ngunjiri Wambugu among others are appearing in Raila's meetings against their personal will.

The vocal Tanga Tanga lawmaker adds that it is still not possible to sell Raila in the region, owing to the past demonization that painted him negatively.

She affirmed that most of the residents if not all are rallying behind Deputy President William Ruto's 2022 presidential bid.

"No amount of effort being put by the government that will make Odinga sell-able in Mt Kenya region. We are still holding on to the agreement made between the two back in 2013 and that is what we are pursuing to ensure the deputy president becomes the next president of this country," said Wahome.

Wahome further criticized the president for welcoming the opposition in to the government stating that if he (Uhuru) was tired, he could have delegated his duties to Ruto rather than Raila or Super CS, Fred Matiang'i.
