Neslon Havi, Mutunga To Be Among Powerful Leaders To Make Historic Journey After Today's Mashujaa

Lawyer, human rights and justice defender, Miguna is expected to be back Kenya very soon. The vocal advocate was abducted from his house in Nairobi on 2nd, February, 2018 and deported to Canada after being allegedly tortured for 6 days. Several leaders including former Chief Justice Willy Mutunga, Nelson Havi the president of the Law Society of Kenya and even progressive politicians will accompany Dr. Miguna on his journey back to Kenya.

The government of Kenya, its agencies and top officials have been accused of defying court valid orders that were in favour of the advocate. The legal team that will be heading to Totonto in Canada will be doing so in order to defend and support the independence of the Judiciary, its authority and also restore confidence in people.

However, Nelson Havi has spoken about his plan to join the legal team to Canada. In his remarks he said, "I am ready to accompany CJ Emeritus Dr Willy Mutunga to Canada to bring Miguna Miguna back home on November 16, 2021. The rule of law, respect for Court orders and the defense of the Constitution is the responsibility of all Kenyans in general and all leaders in particular."

Some Kenyans reacted to his remarks. Some claimed, "Apana, miguna is so disrespectful. How can he call baba conman and again call our todays hero (Jayden) cowdung and still want us to have sympathise him." Others said, "This are Ruto's beneficiaries, have u not noticed how Miguna never attacks Ruto? someone got paid to do a job and they have to do it in one way or another, this is not about following the court orders? This is providing service after paid, bringing Miguna is a plus to Ruto campaign."
