Each of the 5 counties have a total of over 700 thousand voters.

Nairobi leads with a total of 2,415,310 voters. Being a cosmopolitan county, this makes it a battle ground between the two top presidential candidates (Raila and Ruto).

Kiambu county takes the second place with a total of 1,275,008 voters. Kiambu county borders Nairobi city, this makes the county to be slightly a cosmopolitan county hance it can also be classified as the battle ground.

Nakuru takes the third position with a total of 1,154,856 voters. The Mount Kenya region county is slightly considered to be favorable to Ruto compared to Raila.

Kakamega county takes the fourth position with a total of 844,551 voters. The Western Kenya county has been always considered as an ODM stronghold region thus favoring Raila.

Meru county takes the fifth position with a total of 772,139 voters. Meru leaders including their Governor, Murungi, have resently joined hands in favor of Raila's Azimio wagon. Perhaps this might be an advantage to Raila.
