He added that, in a move aimed at attempting to rig elections, goons reportedly protected by Kiambu Police Commander entered the Tallying Centre and started beating IEBC Officials and Hustler Nation Politicians.
Further, the IEBC was forced to suspend the tallying votes in Juja following disruptions of the process by a group of individuals led by Kiambu Governor James Nyoro.
In a statement, through the chairman Wafula Chebukati, IEBC had it that, at around 10:20pm there was disruption of the tallying process at Mang'u High School tallying center in Juja Constituency, by a group of individuals led by Kiambu County Governor Mr. James Nyoro.
Chebukati added that, order to ensure the safety of it's staff, the election materials and to preserve the integrity of the election process, the Commission had to suspend the tallying and announcement of results until normalcy was fully restored.
However, Denis Itumbi with his Hustler Nation Intelligence Bureau (HNIB) Tallying Centre, went ahead announce the Juja Constituency results complete with IEBCK's Form 35A from all Polling Stations, indicating Moses Kuria's candidate as the winner.
