Independent commission on elections and boundaries The IEBC is an independent body that is recognized by the government and is in charge of making sure Kenya has free and fair elections. Wafula Chebukati, who used to be the head of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, cast his last vote on August 9th, before he retired.
But according to what KTN News Kenya reported, it seems clear that IEBC Vice Chairperson Juliana Cherera and Commissioners Francis Wanderi and Justus Nyang'aya could still get paid for the rest of their six-year terms.
