On Monday, February 2nd, the deputy held a meeting with small and medium-sized enterprises business people at his Karen office. On his Twitter handle, the deputy president shared a message explaining why he convened the meeting with the category of business persons. His tweet read, and I quote: "Met micro, small and medium-sized enterprises players from Nairobi County in Karen; discussed challenges and opportunities in the sector" The deputy president's message read.
In his message above, it is clear that its purpose was mainly to address the economic and social challenges facing small and medium-sized business enterprises in Kenya. He had called on this category of people to plan on how to put in place strategies that solve the social-economic problems facing them and the country in general. The deputy president cares a lot for the people of Kenya and has always supported where possible.
