Senator Irungu Kangata has been a man under much Criticism that has finally led to his ouster as the majority whip in the senate. Kangata who was trusted for spearheading the BBI in mount Kenya region found himself on the recieving end after writing a letter to President Uhuru Kenyatta asking him to abandon the BBI as it is unpopular in the mountain region. Kangata argued that the BBI is meant to embarrass the President in mount Kenya region and he should not fall for the trap to support it. However, his message never reached the President first but rather the public after hi letter was leaked to the public.
The question that all kenyans were asking is who is responsible for the letter leaking to the public before reaching President Uhuru Kenyatta. However, that question might have been answered today as Irungu Kangata has already spoken about the people that he truly believe are responsible for his letter leaking to the public before reaching President Uhuru Kenyatta. Kangata said that the leader of majority in the senate, Samuel Phoghisio and Jubilee secretary general Raphael Tuju might have leaked the letter since they previously had a copy of the same.
