Deputy President Dr. William Samoei Ruto landed in Mombasa County for a Political Campaign. He was accompanied by the Nyali MP Hon Mohamed Ali alias Jicho Pevu, Kwale County Governor Salim Mvurya and Hassan Omar.
While giving his powerful Speech before the Residents of Mombasa County. Ruto decided to address rumours from Azimio that he is the one who has been Grabbing land within the Coast Region for the longest period.
"Huyu Mzee wa Kitendawili ako na shida gani na mimi. Hii mambo ya wizi ya shamba Pwani inanuhusu na nini, na ikiwa ana shida sana naomba aulize wakubwa zake." Which translates to
"If Raila Odinga has got Problems with land grabbing at the Coast Region, then he should ask his Seniors."
"Na kama pia ako na ushahidi wa Kutosha ya kwamba mimi William Samoei Ruto nimewahi kuiba Shamba hapa Pwani, basi na namuomba aende Kortin. Hatuwezi kubebana hivi. Juzi tumeona amechagua wale wale [Hassan Joho] kama waziri wa Ardhi." Which translates to
"And if he has Enough Evidence against me over land grabbing, then he should take to the Court of Law." Asserted William Ruto
