"70 percent ni kidogo, tutaleta 90 percent. Si tulikua tunapea Raila 90 percent? Mimi na wetangula tuko hapa na ingo imeshona. Sasa hii ni kazi rahisi. Tutashughulikia madeni tuliyo nayo kwa serikali tutakaposhinda, " Mudavadi said.
The statement translates to, "70% is so less, we shall bring forth 90% . We were giving Raila 90% of the votes from western. Together with wetangula we shall conquer the luhya land. Well deal with debts when we shall be elected." The statement assures Ruto that he shall get the Western Kenya votes. Different reactions have been seen amongst the Kenyans following this words.
