
The Kenya Kwanza team Western Chapter is currently in Kakamega to campaign for their flag bearer William Ruto who is also in Taita Taveta. The team having made several stopovers as they seek to explain to their supporters why they chose to work with Ruto as opposed to Raila and Uhuru Kenyatta.

The team now insisting that they will deliver more than 70 percent of the Luhya voted to Kenya Kwanza which is a combination of more than 10 parties. This is after an agreement that would see that secure a 30 percent stake in Ruto's government if they manage to secure the agreed percent.
Wetangula also revealing that he will be seeking to retain his seat as the senator for Bungoma in the August poll. This is despite the agreement to have the speaker seat in the August once Ruto wins the top seat.
