There was a controversy last week concerning the real number of Kiambu county members who attended the Raila Odinga Azimio La Umoja campaign in Thika town. According to a section of UDA leaders and bloggers, the number of MCA's from Kiambu in the rally did not surpass 15 that day.
However, a comprehensive research done by the Star Kenya highly drawing from first hand information given by a section of the MCA's, the real number of Kiambu county members who attended the rally were 60.
The members who spoke today stated that they were present in person at the meeting but could not be recognized owing to the big number of national leaders at the rally.
Leading ODM party member Prof Makau Mutua of the Buffalo Law school while sharing the news has mocked senior counsel Ahmednasir Abdulahi whom he referred to as the chief propagandist and blogger of the DP Ruto led United Democratic Alliance party. According to Makau, SC Ahmednasir as a blogger should have known the exact number of MCA's present at the rally.
