Azimio la Umoja today were in North Eastern region drumming up support for Raila Odinga as he runs for the presidency in the upcoming general elections.
Odinga is determined to get to every corner of the country in order to garner as much votes as possible. This is very much necessary considering the top competition he is facing from Kenya Kwanza Alliance leaders who are also doing the same.
Few days ago, the Azimio la Umoja rallied at Eastleigh in Nairobi with Raila meeting representatives of the Eastleigh Business community. Area member of parliament was among those endorsing Azimio la Umoja for the next government.
Just days after Azimio la Umoja's tour in Eastleigh, Senior Counsel and famous lawyer, Ahmed Nasir has sent a warning to the community. In his Twitter account, Ahmed Nasir has stated that the support the community is giving to Azimio la Umoja will come to bite badly. It is remembered that the Business community promised to support Raila's quest for the presidency.
