According to the returning officer in the Kiagu ward by-election one vote has been rejected over reasons that it's marked severely. The returning officer is clear the vote cannot be counted for it's marked several persons failing to know the intent of the voter.

It's already clear the by-election is taking shape with Jubilee and UDA being the main opponents. It's clear as per IEBC they will ensure the best candidate wins the seat by ensuring transparency and validity of each vote is adhered to as they prepare for the big job in the 2022 general election.
According to Pamela Karimi, the returning officer in the Kiagu ward by-election, voting concluded at 5 pm and counting began immediately. The officer is clear Kenyans are expected to know the winner today or tomorrow morning.
IEBC is yet to announce on the votes in the by-election a reason most Kenyans are waiting eagerly to know of who wins. However as always it's a matter of wait and see of what happens when voting concludes probably by end of today.
