The sudden demise of President Magufuli has not only shocked Tanzanians but also other friends of President Magufuli in other countries across the globe.
Magufuli was a good friend to Kenya's opposition leader Raila Odinga who has also mourned him as a great leader.
His wife Ida Odinga has also followed suit revealing what the late Magufuli used to do for them when he was still alive.
In an emotional press statement she posted on her Twitter account, Mama Ida has revealed that Magufuli and the Odinga's have always been close friends.
She has stated that Magufuli would most of the time host them at his rural home in Chato and also Dar es Salaam.
According to Ida, Magufuli was also more than a friend to their family who was there for them during their good and bad times.
The Odinga's would also invite Magufuli at their rural home in Bondo and Nairobi several times as revealed by Ida in her statement.
