Atwoli's Ex-wife Officially Joined UDA During Bungoma Rally, Sending The Crowd To Jubilation

Moments of excitements and jubilation was witnessed during Ruto-Mudavadi's Bungoma rally today Friday 28-Jan as DP Ruto introduces COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli's ex-second wife, Roselinda Simiyu to the cheering crowd.

After being invited by the ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi to address the crowd at Posta Grounds in Bungoma County, DP Ruto took the opportunity to acknowledge the presence of several political leaders in the rally, before eventually acknowledging the presence of Francis Atwoli's second wife, Roselinda Simiyu.

"Niko hapa na mama anaitwa Roselinda, ni mke wa yule jamaa wa minyororo (Here is a mother, a wife to that guy of chains", said DP Ruto referring to Atwoli's neck chains).

The crowd cheered loudly, forcing DP Ruto to allow her say a word to the unstoppable crowd. "Naitwa Roselinda Simiyu, na mzee wangu anaitwa Francis Atwoli na mimi niko ndani ya hustler", she said before waving to the crowd and took back her seat.

Roselinda was married to Atwoli in 1996 at the age of 30 years and Atwoli was 47 years then, and the two were blessed with two children, according to reports. During his interview with Jeff Koinange on Citizen Tv, Atwoli stated that he divorced his "mama watoto" due to differences in political ideologies, as she insisted to join elective politics against his will and wishes.

Atwoli's ex-wife who lost the race for the Webuye West Constituency parliamentary seat in 2017 is expected to try her luck again this coming August elections on UDA ticket.
