Magufuli is no more but his legacy and leadership qualities still live on. Yesterday Governor Wangamati was worshiping with other Salvation Army congregants on the road. He was seen running in full SA white apparels. Today, Monday evening, the Bungoma Governor His Excellency Wangamati Wickliffe has directly interacted with the Bungoma residents again. He rode on a bodaboda and payed ksh 500 to the youth who ferried him. He was heading to a meeting scheduled at Soko Kubwa Market.
Shortly after arriving at the venue he took the microphone greeted the Mulembe residents. This caught the attention of many onlookers who advanced to ear drop.
Before the governor addressed on a number of issues regarding the market and county at large, he randomly picked a few residents to shade light on their plight at the traders. Two women and two men represented the group. They talked about insecurity and mistreatment by county officials among other issues. He later addressed the issues and promised full support to the traders. He handed over an undisclosed amount towards the funeral expenses on Mama Joyce Kibera, a trader.
