CNN's Report After William Ruto Was Declared the President-Elect in the August 9th Polls

CNN has finally broken silence after the incumbent Kenya's Deputy president Dr William Samoei Ruto was Declared the President elect by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission in the just concluded August 9th general elections.

CNN has articulated that president elect will be tasked with the solemn duty of providing solutions to the economic challenges the country is currently facing.

Giving a glimpse of the economic problems the president elect will need to solve, CNN cited the current huge debt, the high food and fuel prices been occasioned in the country and the high levels of youth unemployment as the pivotal challenges.

"He will come under pressure to provide solutions to Kenya's pressing economic problems, including growing debt, high food and fuel prices, and mass youth unemployment," CNN stated.

CNN further cited William Ruto's academic prowess, articulating that he a former teacher who holds a doctorate in plant ecology from the University of Nairobi.
