The Amani National Congress Party leader Musalia Mudavadi, has once again comfirmed to Kenyans that he will be on the ballot in the coming general election. Speaking at Matungu constituency during a compaign rally for ANC candidate Peter Nabulindo, the ANC leader said that he will not support or form an alliance with anyone again. He teared down the ODM leader Raila Odinga for defying his promise of not running for Presidency again after 2017.
“When I created the NASA coalition in 2017, Raila told us that he was using his ‘last bullet’ to go for the presidency, and it is hypocritical for him to run again in 2022,” said Mudavadi. Mudavadi also asked the Deputy President to stop his 'hustler nation' political narrative, he said that Ruto cannot use the narrative to hide from his failure to deliver the Jubilee government promises. Ruto is the government's chief assistant so he must take the responsibility.
The ANC leader has therefore urged the people from Matungu to support him, through the coming March by-election by voting for ANC candidate Peter Nabulindo. He said that Matungu by-election will be a measurement for his journey to State House. He added that his main manifesto project will be reviving the country's economy which is currently on its poorest state due to highest foreign debts.
