Former Chief Administrative Secretary for lands has warned Deputy President Dr. William Samoei Arap Ruto to keep off his name. He has claimed that Dp Ruto is using his name in every political rally in the coastal areas saying that he used his influence to hire him into a Jubilee administration. 
Gideon Mung'aro has come out to the public denying what Dp Ruto calls an appointment by him into government. He has further stated that His Execellency President Uhuru Kenyatta gave him the job. He is ever grateful to President Uhuru for the job.

Mr. Mung'aro is seeking to be the next governor of Kilifi County on an Orange Democratic Movement party headed by Raila Amollo Odinga as a party leader.
Dp Ruto while on his campaign caravan in the coastal region has said the was responsible for the appointment of Mung'aro into their government after he lost his gubernatorial bid in the last General elections.
