Hon. Raila Odinga has on many occasions left Kenyans in dilemma and in suspense over his candidature in the 2022 race. The ODM leader has been publicly endorsed by President Uhuru Kenyatta but he has never declared openly that he is to be in the ballot. His supporters have just been making speculations that may be as usual he wants to leave his political opponents especially DP Ruto in dilemma so that his strategies are not exposed. Raila has been a man of many surprises and there is fear that he may join the race in the last hour to just get his victory.
Raila has today been asked by vocal UDA ally to declare his candidature. In his statement Senior Council Ahmednasir asked whether Raila will be granted the permission to officially declare his 2022 presidential candidature on 9th, December, 2022. He also wondered whether Raila will be denied the chance to join the race. In his remarks he asked ODM allies to give their responses. He directed his message to Donald Kipkorir, Junet Mohamed and professor Makau Mutua.
