The latest to thank the former justice minister on her nomination is nominated Jubilee senator Millicent Omanga. In her congratulatory message, Omanga described Karua as a courageous lady with impressive and colourful reform credentials, adding that as a woman, Karua's passion inspires her.
However, Omanga who is seeking the Nairobi Woman representative position on the Kenya Kwanza ticket, believes that her coliaiton offers the best solution for the country.
One of the front runners for the post, Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka, gave the event held at the KICC a wide berth instead chhosing to launch his presidential bid where he named a newcomer Andrew Ole Sunkuli as his deputy president nominee.
