The cabinet secretary in the Ministry of education Prof. George Magoha has today announced that primary and secondary schools will be reopen for third the third term as was planned earlier, this means that schools will be opened on the 10th day of May 2021.
Magoha's statement means that the suspension of physical learning that Uhuru had ordered for could end within the next three weeks, it also means that lock downs imposed in the counties of Nairobi, Machakos, Kiambu, Kajiado, and Kiambu could end as students from different countries study from these counties.
This could end the pain caused to Kenyans through these restrictions, many can no longer do inter-counties businesses, the transport companies are loosing day by day as some counties suffer from lack of tourists. However, it still calls for Kenyans cooperation in observing the set protocols to flatten the curve further. Wash your hands, keep distance, wear your facemasks and sanitise.
