The interior cabinet secretary Dr. Fred Matiang'i Who was among the leaders who welcomed Raila in Nyamira, made himself clear about the leader he will support for presidency race in 2022 general elections.
Dr. Fred Matiang'i told the congression that he will support the candidate who president Uhuru Kenyatta supports."I will support the candidate My President asks me to. I won't support people who have no standing. Today they are owning the government Tomorrow they are in the Opposition criticizing the same government they are... I won't be that stupid.."- Interior CS Fred Matiang'i said.
On recent days the former Prime minister and ODM party leader Raila Odinga has received the support from kenya's prominent leaders including the former kiambu governor William Kabogo.
What does this mean to The ODM party leader Hon. Raila Odinga? Being backed by Kenya's prominent leaders means you have numbers and numbers means alot in politics.
