The Only Kenyan Journalist Who Has Had A One On One Interview With Four Heads Of State (Photos)

Being a journalist, one is required to find news using all means so that they are able to remain relevant and create a name for themselves in the field.

There are some journalists who have created a name for themselves to the extent that they do not need to introduce themselves i.e. Larry Madowo etc.

Today we are going to talk about a journalist who was able to have a one on one interview with three different heads of states. What a previlege right?

His name is John Sibi Okumu. He studied in the USA before coming back to finish his studies at Lenana School.

He is a writers, an actor and also a journalist, he was lucky enough to interview Kenyan second president late Daniel Arap Moi, Kenya's third president Mwai Kibaki, fourth president Uhuru Kenyatta and Zimbabwe's former president late Robert Mugabe.

Even though he is retired now, this record will live with him forever because up until now we still yet to have any other.

Boniface Mwangi Visited him in his home and was amazed at how Organized he is. He has so many books that some even don't exist in the bookstore or the national archives.

One thing about him is that, no one has ever recognized his achievements especially the government.

We wish him all the best in everything that he does and may God give him long life to be able to mentor our young and aspiring journalists..
