The Hustler empowerment rallies headed west to Kakamega County where United Democratic Alliance party leader William Samoei Ruto led his delegates on their two days tour in the mulembe region.
The Deputy President was accorded with a mixed reception as at some point a section of rowdy youths heckled him, but he managed to concluded his day on a big note.
The DP took his time to talk about 2022 and his bottom up model by stating: "The destiny of our country will be decided by Kenyans through their vote. Next year's election will accord them the opportunity to make their choice based on the agenda presented to them. Our agenda is the Bottom-Up Economic Development Model."
This sentiment attracted several reactions from Kenyans which were as follows:
Jacks: "Tuko pamoja my leader here in Malindi would like to shake your hand when you visit this place. BOTTOM UP ECONOMIC MODEL IS THE WAY TO SAVE the coastal region."
Moses Mabonga: " The future oft our country and of mulembe nation depends on the presidency of his excelency RT honourable Dr raila amolo odinga."
