The former prime minister, Raila Odinga, who doubles up as the presidential candidate for Azimio One Kenya coalition party as well as the party leader of ODM took his presidential campaigns to western region at Vihiga county. Vihiga county is the homeground of Musalia Mudavadi. Raila Odinga was accompanied by governor Wylcliffe Oparanya with a host of members of parliament,members of county assembly and aspirants seeking to be elected in various seats across the region.
Musalia Mudavadi who is the key principal of Ruto's Kenya Kwanza coalition as well as the kingpin of western region, took his Kenya Kwanza campaigns to Tongareni constituency in Bungoma county. He was accompanied by the party leader of Ford kenya, Moses Wetangula, with a host of prominent leaders.
Mudavadi's team was warmly received by hundreds of Tongareni residents who turned out to grace his rally as they accord them a heroic grand entry. He urged the residents to support William Ruto's presidential bid as he assures them that Ruto's government will empower the residents through creating employment opportunities for them.
