The highly contested Kiambaa by-elections are at the corner as aspirants and their supporters move swiftly in their final preparations to move voters on their sides. Wanjiku Njuguna of UDA and Kariri Njama of Jubilee are the horses in the July 15 mini polls.
Kiharu member of parliament and UDA's vocal campaigner in Kiambaa Ndindi Nyoro has announced that UDA will be conducting a grand finale at the Karuri primary grounds for the hustlers cup finals and music extravaganza powered by John Njuguna Wanjiku of UDA. UDA youths have been camping in Kiambaa constituency from mid last week saying they will stay until the final day of campaigns.
In a letter that was written by Karuri primary school headteacher Daniel Ole Nariahah, the school acknowledged receipt of ksh 12,000 from Moses Wachira as payment of access to the facility. The teams have therefore been authorized to use the school grounds on 11 July 2021.
Kiambaa is expected to be painted yellow ahead of this event.
