Kimilili member of parliament Hon Didmus Barasa has finally publicly responded to police who raided his home and dragged CDF vehicle to Kimilili police station.
The MP was being sought for branding the CDF vehicle with his campaign posters and images and for the offece of forging the number plate by removing the GOK plate and replacing it with a civilian plate.
However, speaking in Tongaren Constituency in a UDA rally, the MP has trashed the claims and called out the police Inspector Mr Hillary Mutyambai telling him that he should arrest and jail Raila Odinga first before arresting him.
Barasa alleges that Hon Odinga is not elected and yet he has been using government vehicles and other resources in his Azimio campaigns together with Cabinet Secretaries like Eugene Wamalwa of Defence, Mucheru of ICT and Matiang'i of Interior and Coordination.
''Ndiyo waseme mimi niko na makosa mimi ni mjumbe ambaye nimechaguliwa. Raila hachachaguliwa, alijiaoisha peke yake na anatumia magari ishirini na mbili ya serikali. Kabla hamjakuja kukamata huyu kijana ya mjane kamata Raila Amolo Odinga kwanza yeye aende afungwe kwanza ndiyo mnikamate mimi,'' he said.
