Kirinyaga Governor, Anne Waiguru Joins UDA After Closed Door Meeting With Ruto

The formerly Jubilee diehard, Anne Waiguru has swore today 26 October to join UDA party after meeting with Deputy President William Ruto at his official Residence at Karen.

The Kirinyaga Governor is still in a closed door meeting with Ruto as we speak. She was accompanied by a host of MCAs from her county to the Dp's camp yesterday for the meeting.

Waiguru had indicated earlier that she could ditch President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee and formally join Ruto’s “hustler nation movement”. This has now come true following her today's decision and movement.

About a month ago, the former Devolution Cabinet Secretary Anne Waiguru has had an on and off frosty relationship with the DP and she said that she will listen and do extensive consultations with the electorates before making on the way forward as far as the August 2022 general election is concerned.

“I can not try to be ignorant and go against my people. I can't vote myself in, I am listening to what they want. Do they want me to run for governor a second term then l will do so. Any contrary opinion from them also l will accept." Waiguru said.
