One day after a grueling exercise in voting, Raila Odinga and Dp Ruto demonstrated that they are worthy contenders in the campaign following a tense duel. The counting of the votes is currently taking place.
More votes were cast for Ruto as of 9:09 p.m. local time, but there is still a long way to go before all of the ballots have been counted. As of this writing, Ruto's popularity stands at 50.64 percent, while that of Raila Odinga is 48.70 percent.
Raila Odinga has 3,571,098, Ruto has 3,712,778 votes, Wajackoyah has 31,538 votes, and Mwaure has 16,787 votes, putting him in fourth position overall.
That being said, it must be kept in mind that the IEBC is still counting votes and that the results could change at any time due to the volume of votes being received.
