Reacting on his social media account, Journalist Tony Gachoka hinted that the meeting held in Nyanza today and which was attended by Peter Kenneth was part of psychological preparation for Kneyans to be ready for a Raila Odinga leadership in 2022.
“Today Baba @RailaOdinga receives blessings from Mt. Kenya Elders. I join in welcoming him to the region and assure him of our support. It is time the rubber hits the road,” he remarked.
Odinga, today, hosted over 500 Kikuyu and Luo elders at his Bondo home. The elders endorsed the Orange Democratic Movement leader for the 2022 presidential race.
The coronation event took place at his late father’s Kango Ka Jaramogi home in Bondo, Siaya County and which will be followed by another visit by Luo elders in Central region very soon.
