Mount Kenya region leaders while attending a church service today in Morang'a county, sent a new demand to Orange democratic party leader, Hounerable Raila Odinga. According to them, they requested Peter Kenneth to be Odinga's deputy. Something that is about to cause tension within Odinga's camp. Led by Kiambu County governor Nyoro, they claimed that Kenneth is the most preferred candidate to deputise Odinga and they are requesting their wish to be granted.
Orange democratic party leader is yet to declare his candidature and in a previous rally in Ukambani, he hinted at working with Kalonzo Musyoka and all other former NASA coalition principals. If he settles on Peter Kenneth. Will Kalonzo agree to be given another position and not second in command incase he decides to come back? Well, this is a tough time for Odinga and his team. They will have to play the game well so as not to loose Mount Kenya support and also Eastern region backing which is important to him.
Here is the link to the video of Central Region leaders, endorsing Peter Kenneth for deputy president.
