The Covid 19 pandemic is quickly snatching the countries its potential leaders.The Entire Africa is mourning the death of President Magufuli.However,the Tanzanian government has said that he died of heart related complications.There had been rumours that the President had been infected with the deadly virus.
Kenya has suffered as well from this pandemic.Prominent leaders have lost their lives.MCAs have died leading to closure of some County Assemblies.Just last week, ODM leader Raila Odinga got isolated after getting infected with the virus.Fortunately,he is now our of danger.Many Kenyans have innocently lost their lives leaving the families desperate.
This week has been tough for the journalists after the death of a renown Citizen TV journalist Mr Robbin Njogu.His death has caught the sector with a surprise.Even before his burial, another journalist is gone due to the virus.Former NTV anchor Winnie Mukami has succumbed to Covid 19.Ms Mukami who recently served as a board member of Kenya Pipeline died while receiving treatment at a city hospital.This is a great blow to the journalists owing to their delicate job in the country.
