Purity Ngiricii Overtakes Anne Waiguru in Kirinyaga Gubernatorial Race after exit of Martha Karua to the National Politics. It's seems like she inherited the large chunk Azimio DP Nominee votes. The Race has narrowed down between the Two Powerful Women. 
The incumbent enjoys support From UDA wave in Mt Kenya but entry of Martha Karua into top seat seems to be changing the dynamics of the politics. Waiguru Few days ago came out to blast the stage over alleged arrest of her Allies.
As August Election Campaign kicks off it's anticipated that the Two front runners are going to pull huge machinery in order to win. Ngiricii is vying on independent Ticket. 
In the capital city, Edwin Sifuna and Women Representative Esther Passaris have opened a huge Gap with their competitors according to Mizani. As 67% of voters shown that they'll vote for Passaris while 62% settled on ODM SG. Gubernatorial Race is tight one with Sakaja leading with 48% while Polycarp Igathe comes second with 43%
