It is now six days after the election excercise was done. The next president of Kenya to be Uhuru's successor is still unknown. Unsettled Kenyans are anxiously waiting for the final declaration from the IEBC.
According to the latest official presidential results from the IEBC, the deputy president William Ruto of Kenya Kwanza, has gained a lead over his key competitor Raila Odinga of Azimio La Umoja with current verified presidential results.
However, despite the delay all key political people across the country are asking Kenyans to be at peace at all costs even when the results will be announced.
Consequently, a coalition of well-known organizations including human rights activists, attorneys, and labor unions, have advised Kenyans to shun away from any action that could lead to tensions and spark riots.
