The 2022 General elections are approaching. We are only counting some months to that. A lot has been witnessed in the Kenyan political space. Leaders have been declaring their interests everyday even if it's still early. But anyway this is the way to go in Kenya as you have to mobilize your supporters as early as possible.
In the year 2018 ,the political situation in the country took a new shape. President Uhuru Kenyatta and the former prime minister, Raila Amollo Odinga made peace that to the Building Bridges Initiative. Their enmity was now over.
Jubilee Party of Kenya was split into two factions. One supporting Uhuru and the other Dp Ruto. The Tangatanga faction took a very bold step and even went ahead to form their own political party, United Democratic Alliance. This will be the vehicle that Dp will use to try his luck to the statehouse.
The other horse that we expect in the next year's election is Raila. The main headache for him would be looking for the perfect running mate as the National Super Alliance is now split since the other allies are now supporting Gideon Moi. It won't be any easy for this man from Bondo, but time will tell.
