The former prime minister has intensified the Mount Kenya vote hunt in the recent days. Today He attended a church service at Murang'a county in Kigumo constituency. After the event He left to Nairobi, however his convoy was blocked by a section of the youths and his supporters at Kangare town . They demanded him to address them before leaving their residential town. In a viral video, Odinga received a warm welcoming from hundreds of the voters who chanted "Baba" slogan to show their full support to the Orange democratic party leader.
He stood on His vehicle to talk to His supporters, In his address, Raila asked them full support of His 2022 presidencial candidature. He also thanked them revealing that they played a key role during the collection of the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) signatures which was nullified by both the supreme court and High Court. He also promised them that the journey to Canaan has not yet stopped and soon Kenya will enjoy the results of good leadership. He also urged the region to support His agenda of developing the nation and and bringing the country together. He promised them that His relationship with the president will boost the Kenyan economy and give thousands of jobless citizens work across the country. Raila also slammed his political rivals including the deputy president for orchestrating campaigns of divisiveness and referring to the youth of this nation as Hustler's, a term which He revealed that it diminishes the efforts that the young generation has made to the republic.
