DP Ruto led UDA party reaps big after three Mount Kenya leaders join the party ahead of August polls

Several leaders from larger Mount Kenya region are joining UDA party led by deputy president William Ruto. In the last two weeks, deputy president William Ruto has received several defectors from Mount Kenya region at his official residence in Karen.

Today the party received three other leaders from Mount Kenya region. The leaders hails from Nyeri county which is one of the ten counties in Mount Kenya region.

The leaders includes former Nyeri majority leader Duncan Gituanja who is also vying for Kabaru ward seat, former Narumoru ward MCA Ringiru Marete who is also vying for the ward seat in 2022 and Endarasha ward MCA aspirant Peter Kamau.

The three leaders from Nyeri county were warmly welcomed to UDA party by Mathira legislator Rigathi Gachagua at his rural residence on behalf of deputy president William Ruto.

" I have this morning at my village residence received aspiring MCAs into UDA the party of the future forming the next government in six months ad sixteen days" wrote Mathira legislator Rigathi Gachagua on his official Facebook page.

Legislator Rigathi Gachagua assured the new defectors of a free, fair and credible nominations in the upcoming UDA party primaries. He also urged the new leaders to popularize UDA party at the grassroot levels.
