Mega Fallout Looming in Raila-led Azimio La Umoja One Kenya As Finer Details Continue To Emerge

Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition party is a mega political outfit that was formed in the run up to August ninth general elections with an aim of grasping power. This never came to be as Kenya Kwańza Alliance under the leadership of President William Samoei Ruto and his Deputy, Rigathi Gachagua swiftly sailed through to the highest office in the land.

It was the most trying moment for the outfit which is led by former President Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta and his handshake brother, former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga. The election waterloo came as great purge and setback for them.

In yet another acid test for this one time formidable political formation, Jubilee and KANU parties are now threatening to stage a walk out from the outfit. The two are key partners and affiliates in the Coalition.

The two political parties are accusing Raila-led ODM party as far as the appointment in various Parliamentary positions are concerned. However, the Orange party insiders say that they have nothing to lose even if the Coalition breaks up since Raila is unlikely to contest in 2027. It is indeed a messy and noisy altercation whose end results are still unpredictable.
