The political temperatures are rising higher and higher, day in day out. Potential contestants running up and down to make their houses right.
The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party has the Former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga for the presidency. The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party has DP Ruto. The two horses completing for that single position. Who will win?
Raila's strategies seem super calculated than Ruto's. Recently, Raila met leaders from Mount Kenya Region, this is one way of amassing votes. It should be noted that the Mount Kenya region has more voters than any region.
On a development tour in Kibra, President Uhuru endorsed Raila as his successor. Uhuru being the mount Kenya leader is a clear sign that he has a share of votes from the region.
Raila attended the delegate meeting for the OKA coalition. Although there was no official announcement of whether ODM will join OKA, it was expressive that there was a game for Ruto cooking. It is only waiting for the right time to reveal itself.
If ODM aligns with OKA, that will be a great moment for Baba. Think of support from Kambas through Kalonzo, From Luhyas through Mudavadi and Wetangula, and Kalenjins through Gideon Moi.
That gives Baba a higher probability of winning compared to Ruto.
