KANU party leader Gideon Moi is alleged to have plans of joining Raila's politics as their One Kenya Alliance plans to endorse their favorite candidate on falters.
The OKA principals; Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula together with Moi had agreed to form a coalition that would drive them to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta at the end of his term.
OKA has however not fully registered with the Registrar of Political Parties as leaders have yet to endorsed their flag bearer. According to Kalonzo, he is best suited to race in 2022 warning that nothing will deflect him from his ambition. On the other side, Mudavadi warned that he would not support any leader informing that he will be contesting for presidency.
According to sources close to Gideon Moi, there are some allegations that he will support Raila's presidential bid. However, he has not publicly revealed on his next move.
OKA are on standstill with each candidate seeking for his alternative way should their coalition plan fail to take place.
