Covid-19 Update on Monday 12 April 2021

Today, the health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe announced the records in relation to Covid-19. The CS announced that there have been 486 new cases related yo Covid-19 within the last twenty-four hours. This was obtained from a sample size of 2,989 individuals. 115 people have recovered from Covid-19 today. This makes Kenyans to be more hopeful that the pandemic will soon be overcomes. There have been 20 fatalities within the last twenty-four hours.

Among the locked counties, Nairobi has registered the highest population of 349 who were infected by Covid-19 over a period of twenty-four hours. Let us always remember to clean our hands often either by using hand sanitizers or soaps. Also, maintaining social distance of about 1.5 meters in social places is also a way of curbing the pandemic.

Remember to wear masks while interacting with people. By observing this, we shall be able to secure the future of our nation and reduce the spread of Covid-19 and hopefully the government will lift some of the restrictions that it has imposed which includes suspension of physical learning and movement to and from locked counties. Our health is our wealth.
